Disclosure & accreditation
Last updated: 29 May 2026
Honesty is one of our three promises, so we're plain about where we stand. This page sets out our current status accurately — and we will never imply an accreditation we don't yet hold.
Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO)
Eden Trails Travel Agency is in the process of obtaining Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) certification. Until that certification is confirmed, we will not describe ourselves as BTO-certified. We will update this page and cite our certificate as soon as it is issued.
Flights and IATA accreditation
Eden Trails is not, at this stage, directly IATA-accredited. We issue air tickets through our IATA-accredited partner, Fly-ticketpro, whose Billing & Settlement Plan (BSP) relationship handles airline ticketing and settlement. When you book flights with us, your ticket is issued on this accredited basis. We intend to pursue direct IATA accreditation as our volume grows.
Your deposit and the trust account
On an interim basis, client deposits are held in trust by Stonehendge (Pty) Ltd in a First National Bank (FNB) Botswana account, pending the opening of Eden Trails’ own dedicated account. Funds are paid against your unique payment reference. See our deposit & confirmation page for how this works and for important anti-fraud guidance.
Professional indemnity and industry membership
We are establishing professional indemnity cover and relevant industry memberships as part of our launch. Where these are not yet in place, we will not claim them. This page will be updated as each is confirmed.
Our commitment
- We describe our accreditations accurately, never aspirationally.
- We disclose our IATA partner’s role in ticketing openly.
- We protect your deposit in a trust account and explain exactly how.
- We update this page the moment our status changes.
